Meredith Vieira could be leaving NBC’s “Today Show” when her contract is up for renewal later this year, according to TV Guide’s Mike Fleeman.

Cited as reasons are the show’s early hours and concern about the health of her husband, who has multiple sclerosis.

Vieira, 57, has been been part of the morning team that includes Matt Lauer and Al Roker since 2006. She started the job when Katie Couric left to anchor the “CBS Evening News.” Couric, 54, is leaving that job this year, according to reports.
