Like the first Dylan tribute, “A Nod to Bob 2″ features Red House artists interpreting Dylan songs. Performers include John Gorka, singing “Just Like a Woman”; Lucy Kaplansky, covering “Every Grain of Sand”; and Storyhill, performing “Lay Down Your Weary Tune.”

Other artists on the album include Eliza Gilkyson, Hot Tuna, Spider John Koerner and Guy Davis.

Dylan turns 70 next Tuesday. He was born in Duluth and grew up in Hibbing, on Minnesota’s Iron Range.
