“The Budapest public area maintenance company and the Eighth District have told the Hare Krishnas that they may no longer give out free food at Blaha Lujza tér, after 20 years of doing so. The authorities will allow the Krishnas to continue their occasional food giveaways at Teleki tér, near the Kerepesi cemetery.

The Hare Krishnas say the new location is less accessible, especially for non-homeless people such as poor pensioners, and that public safety there is questionable.”
