If you’re taking Mom out to celebrate her day Sunday, she might get a little extra gift. Friendly’s restaurants in several markets (including Hartford and southern Connecticut) will award random diners with up to $500 in Visa gift cards in a series of in-store giveaways.
Friendly’s plans to give away a total of $37,100 to 106 customers. The promotion is designed to show recognition for “all the love and dedication shown by mothers year-round,” the company said.
Along with the surprise Visa gift card giveaways, all moms dining at participating Friendly’s restaurants on Sunday will receive a “Random Act of Friendlyness” card, good for a free ice cream cone or breakfast on a future visit. Also, all Friendly’s guests on Mother’s Day will receive a coupon for $5 off a $25 purchase, also for a future visit.
